Hey Guys!

Loosing weight is obviously a challenge for many people, but with this list ofsimple weight loss tipsyou should be able make some real progress. Keep in mind that it is best to approach weight loss with a plan and a strategy. Here are my top 7 diettips for weight loss.

1Structure your diet around your workouts, so that the majority of your calories are consumed before and after your workout. This will maximize your energy expenditure during your workout as well as maximize your body’s ability to utilize calories for recovery.

2Focus your diet around lean protein. Try to eat your target weight in grams of protein without exceeding your daily caloric goals. A good carb and fat profile should follow if you are getting plenty of protein.

3Salad is king. A good salad with lots of fresh ingredients will go a long way towards keeping you healthy when you are stressing your body with losing weight. Don’t douse it with a fattening dressing; salsa is a great low calorie dressing. I try to eat at least one salad per day.

4Eat more fiber. Fiber is essential for weight loss and can help with constipation issues on a high protein diet. Fiber cereal or a fiber supplement is a good option. I like to shoot for 40 grams of protein per day, which can be a real challenge on a low calorie diet.

5Refined carbs are not your friend. And, while bread can be healthy it is not your friend during weight loss. I tend to stay away from anything that resembles bread, pasta, or any other starch during a diet phase.

6Don’t go too long without eating. This is a recipe for disaster and will lead to nothing but cravings. Eating small meals on a regular basis will help you combat cravings and keep your energy levels up.

7Keeping a journal is one of the best diet tips out there and is almost essential if you want to really make progress. Counting calories may seem OCD but it works and it can be a great tool for learning how much you really eat and how you respond to different diets. People that keep detailed diet journals loose almost twice as much weight as their counterparts that wing it.

So guys! Keeping these diet tips in mind and taking action to make lifestyle changes that lead to weight loss will most certainly take the pounds off. See you all in next edition till then STAY SLIM……J
