Fun, friendship and trying something new and exciting, that's what Round Table is all about.
 
From sports to arts and nights out at restaurants to family social events, Round Table prides itself on giving its members the chance to embrace life to the full. Its members pride themselves on their sense of belonging to something rather special, that is not so easy to find these days. Round Table is the ultimate young professionals club.

There are many benefits to becoming a member of Round Table. Taking part in debate and organising functions and events will build essential leadership skills, give you public speaking abilities and help you enhance your personal strengths like no other organisation. This is because Round Table was established specifically for young professionals.

 Forget About Work for a While - Come and Have some Fun.

But perhaps more importantly it is about enjoying a wide and more varied social life and making friends. Everything you do in Round Table is for enjoyment, it is just up to you to decide to what extent.

A key benefit of belonging to Round Table is getting together with people from other walks of life to yours. Currently Round Table exists in more than 65 countries around the world with a total membership of around 35,000, providing limitless opportunities for you to travel and change your perspective on life.

Our latest international gathering was in the citiy of Alkmaar in the Netherlands where members of Round Table in countries from all over the world gathered to celebrate 82 years of fellowship and community service to humanity. Over 450 delegates from 40 countries took part in this event were they enjoyed Dutch hospitality and made new friends that will last a life time. The event was proudly hosted by Round Table The Netherlands!

About Round Table
The first Round Table was formed in Norwich, England in 1927. The founder, Louis Marchesi, was a young member of Norwich Rotary Club who felt a need existed for a club where the young business men of the town could gather on a regular basis. In a speech in front of Rotarian he stated  The Founder, Eminio William Louis Marchesi was born 19th January 1898 of an Irish Mother, and a Swiss Father. His father was of the small town of Poschiavo. The family name lives on to this day in the town for the donation of the Church and Hospital to the local community. In 2007 Round Table celebrated 80 Years. Round Table Great Britain and Ireland, the founding association celebrated the 80th Anniversary with over 700 Tablers, past Tablers and guest attended a luncheon at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull on Saturday 24th March 2007 Currently Round Table exists in more than 65 countries around the world with a total membership of around 40,000, providing limitless opportunities for you to travel and change your perspective on life. Round Table is actively involved in raising money and helping the community. Most of the projects by Round Table Internationally focus on helping young children either by educating them or by providing Schools and Health care. There are a number of Round Table meetings and events every year, where members of Round Table meet. All events have their mixture of work, fun and friendship. If you have not joined in any of the events please do not hesitate to go. It is an experience that you will never forget. The Round Table fun and friendship is something that words cannot express. As one old tabler once said “Round Table events are where you meet an old friend for the first timeRound Table EventsThere are a number of Round Table meetings and events every year, where members of Round Table meet. The Annual World Meeting usually takes place in August or September. In 2009 more than 400 members of Round Table met in Alkmaar, Netherlands. In 2010 it will be held in Dubai, UAE at the end of September. In addition to the World meeting each of the 3 Regions has its own Regional Meetings. Also the EMA region has 3 Sub Regional Meetings (STM, CTM and NTM). Each country also has its own yearly AGM and some countries have special events, like Mass Tours, and theme events (like the Venice Carnival Dinner Dance). The EMA Region has also a number of special events, like the Euro Ski, the Euro Sail, the Euro Dive, the Euro Mountain and a number of Euro-Number Meetings.All events have their mixture of work, fun and friendship. If you have not joined in any of the events please do not hesitate to do so. It is an experience that you will never forget. The Round Table fun and friendship is something that words cannot express.
